Our Patients
Being raised in Chinatown, an immigrant himself, Dr. Fong has devoted his practice to serving the Asian community. He is the foremost authority on LASIK surgery and Asian eyes.
Over 75% of our patients are Asian, mostly Chinese and Korean, representing a cross section of the community. In our offices, on any typical day, a waiter can be sitting next to a banker, a judge or a garment factory worker. We are proud of this diversity and we strive to offer the same level of personal care to each and every individual.
Our practice is not limited to Asians, however. About 25% include Caucasians, Blacks, and Hispanics. Many come from the Wall Street firms, the surrounding court offices, SoHo, the Upper East and West Sides. For them, it's not important whether the doctor is Black, White or Asian. They just want the best.
In addition, about 10% of our LASIK patients come for our services from outside New York State. They come from places as far away as Massachusetts, Georgia, South Carolina, California, Texas and from international lands such as Hong Kong, The Phillipines, China, Korea and France, just to name a few.
Almost all of our patients come to us by word of mouth referrals. What does this mean to you?
