Our Staff
We have over 50 highly competent and knowledgeable staff members including seven doctors. Ours is the largest private ophthalmology practice serving the Asian population in the United States. All of our staff members are fluent in at least two languages. Most of them were raised in and still live in the Asian community. We all share the same passion and commitment to serving our patients and our community.
Most of our senior staff members have been with us since the beginning. Those who have left us often go on to supervisory positions in other eye care practices. Our staff members are team players; they are sincere, caring personable and professional.
We know that you require the best care possible, so we are proud of the fact that we have a much higher staff to patient ratio than almost any other ophthalmology practice. For example, a typical laser center would usually have only 1-2 technicians to operate the laser equipment. We have 4 technicians present at all times.
In this ever-changing refractive surgery environment, we want to stay ahead of the pack by continually educating our staff. Our senior team members attend the two largest (ASCRS and AAO) ophthalmology conferences every year in addition to numerous smaller seminars. This ensures that you are getting the latest, most informed care possible.
Additionally, many of our staff members have had Dr. Fong perform LASIK surgery on themselves as well as their friends and relatives. They can speak first hand to the wonderful benefits of LASIK.
